Cowart Elementary is a "Leader in Me" school. Cowart's faculty is now teaching Sean Covey's "The 7 Habits of Happy Kids" to our students.
The Leader In Me
Cowart Elementary is now a "Leader in Me" leadership school. The entire faculty and staff of Cowart made a commitment to instill leadership qualities and principles in our students. The staff has been trained in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People program designed by Stephen Covey and in The Leader in Me process, and we are excited to share these habits and this process with our students and our parents!
The 7 Habits are:
1. Be Proactive
2. Begin With The End In Mind
3. Put First Things First
4. Think Win-Win
5. Seek First To Understand Then To Be Understood
6. Synergize
7. Sharpen The Saw.
Students are encouraged to look for opportunities to be leaders at home and school. Please talk with your child about these habits and how they are used daily.
