Success Secrets

 Habits for a great year!

What can you do to make this school year the best one possible for your child? Develop simple habits that support learning. They only take a few minutes each day but can have a huge impact on school success. Try these ideas.

  • Be Respectful

Remind your child how important it is to use kind words and take turns. Waiting your turn and keeping hands and feet to yourself are always the best practice. At school this year your child will be taught to think win-win. No matter the situation everyone can be a winner. They will also learn to seek first to understand, then to be understood. In other words listen before you talk. We'All do our part to help you help your child develop a respectful tolerant attitude toward others.

  • Be Responsible

Suggest that your child always follow classroom/ school procedures. Encourage them to be on time, be prepared and listen for directions. We will instruct them in how to be proactive and begin with the end in mind by having a plan. We will also teach them how to put first things first.

  • Be Resourceful

Teach your child to set goals.Encourage him to ask for help when its needed and remind your child to report any problems to an adult. Here at school we will focus on helping your child learn to synergize and work together with others as well as take time to rest and renew.

Welcome back! We look forward to a respectful, responsible and resourceful school year.
